There are many beautiful hotels in Maui, especially in Wailea. When the competition is tough, Wailea Beach Resort shines. From the sprawling grounds, the fun pool, the central location and plenty of on-site activities, The Wailea Beach Resort is the backdrop for an unforgettable vacation.

Located in the heart of Wailea in South Maui, this resort has a great location. The hotel is located on the beach between Ulua and Wailea. It is a short walk to the Wailea shops and walking distance to many of Wailea’s restaurants.
Wailea Beach Resort has three pools spread across its property. This is good as the adult pool is very quiet because it is located away from the kids rides and the Nalu Adventure pool.
Wailea Beach Resort has 547 rooms, of which 56. However, I was surprised to see that they have more due to the nature of the resort, it really doesn’t seem that big. Instead of everyone being in one or two large towers, most of the rooms are split into separate, smaller buildings.
All rooms in the complex have a terrace (courtyard) so you can enjoy the fresh air and sea breeze without leaving your room. And the basement has an extended lanai that looks like a small outdoor space.

The rooms are classified by view: garden, partial sea view, sea view and sea view. The beachfront rooms are very close to the water, which is what we stayed in when we were there. But none of the rooms are on the beach because the hotel is located between two beaches on a cliff. And both of these beaches are on the list of best beaches in Maui.
Our room was a good size and suited our small family, although we didn’t spend much time in the room as we had a lot to do in the restaurant.
